Oct 2011 – Dec 2013 Burkina Faso, West Africa

Education volunteer in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Organized various community groups and presented ideas and information covering a variety health and wellness topics. Conceptualized, wrote, and illustrated a children’s book distributed to over 152,000 students in 698 schools in collaboration with Catholic Relief Services with funding provided by the USDA, under their Global Foods for Education initiative. Created original multimedia resources for Peace Corps volunteers as chairperson of the Technology and Media committee.

Marketing Designer - NylonMagazine
Mar 2010 – Sep 2010  New York, NY

Worked directly with the Marketing Design Director in collaboration with the Art Dept., designing sales decks, event collateral, and marketing assests to help the sales team tell the Nylon story. Assembled comps and conducted art/photo research. Streamlined our process by organizing reference library files for the department and creating master templates for sales decks and other reoccuring design collateral.
